Question by Ashleigh .: I have so much pain through out my body, I NEED HELP!?
Hi guys,
For the last 6 months or so EVERY joint in my body hurts so bad everyday.
Some days its so bad i cant even get out of bed, and i have woken up crying. Recently my muscles have started hurting too (for no reason). My last primary care doctor did a test to check for Lyme disease and inflammation in my joints. Both came back negative.
I just moved a month ago and have a new doctor, They did the same test and negative again.
I really need advice, I cant take this pain anymore its so severe.
Should i just go ahead and see a Rheumatoid doctor?
My primary doctor didn’t even check my joints or look at them. Just the blood test. I asked to be put on something for pain as i have tired all otc anti-flammatory medicine. They prescribed ULTRAM. Today was the first time taking them (took one pill) and i haven’t have any pain relief after 3 hours.
I just don’t know what else to do, I really need help and advice.
Thanks
My vitamin D was low when i was first check by the first doctor, since then my new doctor just check it and said it was fine.
And I’ve lost weight (ten pounds in a month) in hopes that would help some, since the doctor said it would. I actually feel worse now though. But also If every joint in my body hurts, could it really be from my weight? (I’m not hugely over weight, but i am a bit) Id understand my ankles, knees and hips. But not my fingers, wrists, elbows, etc. hurting from that.

If you can see a rheumatologist, you should. My mom had problems with her foot that were so bad she had to wear a brace, but her GP never figured out what it was despite seeing him for two years about it.
The GP kept suggesting things like plantar fasciatis and fibromyalgia, neither of which seemed to fit her symptoms very well.
The rheumatologist she was finally referred to figured it out in one visit: she was severely vitamin D deficient. All it took to cure the problem was one 50,000 UI vitamin D treatment and taking a daily supplement has kept the pain away. That’s probably not your issue, but I hope the doctor you see is as clever.
