Q&A: Growing pains at 19, female, haven’t grown an inch in years..?
Question by : Growing pains at 19, female, haven’t grown an inch in years..?
I’m 19 years old, I haven’t grown at all in years, and I am still having “growing-pains”. I have normal periods, I had a bout of Mono two years ago, I am in remission from aplstic anemia, and I have Raynaud’s Syndrome. I get these pains in my ankles, knees, hips, and sometimes my shoulders, and I get them often. Could I have some type of arthritis? Is there anything that I Should be concerned about? Or is this normal for my age?

It’s unlikely to be growing pains but related to some of your previous medical conditions.

You should get tested for rheumatoid arthritis. Raynaud’s Disease could be an autoimmune disease, and having one puts you at risk of having another, like rheumatoid arthritis, which is autoimmune. Or lupus, which is also autoimmune.
Sounds like possible RA to me (from stories Ive heard from others).
Please look into this site for alternative treatment (Antibiotic therapy).
